Hello! I'm Christie, a Kansas City-based wedding photographer with a deep passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. My journey in photography began in the darkroom, where I worked in professional labs processing film and paper photos(remember those?). This foundation in the technical side of photography gives me a unique perspective, as I truly understand the intricacies of the processing and chemistry behind every image.

I shot my first wedding on a 120 medium format camera, and it was at that moment that I fell in love with storytelling through the lens. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless couples, always seeking to capture not just beautiful images, but the essence of their love and celebration.

My approach blends technical expertise with an artist's eye, ensuring that each shot is both emotionally impactful and beautifully composed. I take pride in creating images that will not only stand the test of time but also evoke the same feelings you had in those moments years down the road.

You can meet your team and talk with them before your big day. This ensures you will get to know them and feel comfortable before your wedding day. Did you know that most of the large vendors won't allow you to meet your photographers, videographers, or DJ often until your wedding day?

In addition, your photographers, videographers, or DJ are paid only about 20% of your total package price. They can be paid as little as $400 to work the entire day are your wedding. Most of your dollars are going to overseas editors, out-of-state employees, and corporate overhead.
